Fear stops us from loving freely, stops us from making the right decisions, stops us from following God. So, it’s no surprise that the most repeated command in the Bible is ‘Do not be afraid.’

These Bible verses about fear are not just words of comfort, but instructions to be obeyed. He knows how much fear is our enemy. How much fear holds us back. Fear causes us to become isolated, selfish and unfruitful. Fear leads to misunderstanding, prejudice and conflict.
Fear comes in many forms:
